Helen Louise Binder, 90, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hammond Cemetery, Hammond, IL. Memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.Louise was born June 2, 1927 in Windsor, IL, the daughter of Ethie Otis and Ella May (Wilson) Rankin. She married David H. Binder in September 1955. She was a member of Northwest Christian Church and above all, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.Louise is survived by her children, Robert (Diana) Bolin of Decatur; David Alan (Katherine) Binder of California, David Lynn Binder of O’Fallon, MO, Linda Fultz of Boody, IL and Sandy (David) Via of Port Jefferson, NY; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sisters-in- law, Wanda Rankin of Mattoon and Marie Barr of Decatur.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband David, and daughter-in-law Robin Binder.
