Helen Balding

Helen Louise Hill Balding, age 91, of Decatur, IL passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.Helen was born in Bement, IL, the daughter of Russell and Eva Snelson Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 61 years, Fred E. Balding; daughter Janet Ann Balding; brother, Robert C. Hill; and sister-in-law Janelva Hill. Surviving are daughter, Lynn Christine Klock (Douglas) of Hilton, N.Y.; son, Gary F. Balding (Kathy) of Matthews, N.C.; grandchildren, Kevin Klock (Teresa) of Potomac, M.D., Adam Klock of Brockport, N.Y., Brittany Balding of Charlotte, N.C., Brett Balding of Charlotte, N.C.; 3 great-grandchildren, Cooper Klock, John Klock, Jacob Klock; brother, Gene Hill (Jan) of Anaheim, CA; step-sister, Eileen Royal (Lowell) of Springfield, IL; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.Helen was a 60 year member of Sharon United Methodist Church and a retired department head at Montgomery Ward.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, at Sharon United Methodist Church, Decatur, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to Sharon United Methodist Church. "
