Hazel Fouse

Hazel E. (Wilkinson) Fouse, 97, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 11:25 a.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at Hickory Point Christian Village, Forsyth, IL. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 27, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, September 26, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fairlawn Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to Christ United Methodist Church. Hazel was born November 21, 1915, in Akron, OH, the daughter of James and Lottie (Wood) Wilkinson. She married Charles W. Fouse on May 23, 1936, in Akron, OH. He preceded her in death. Hazel was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, and also a member and past matron of Eastern Star Chapter NE-HTA #500 in Akron, OH for over 60 years. Surviving are her son Charles Fouse, Jr. and wife Dorothea (Dotty) of Decatur, IL; grandson James W. Fouse and wife Kimberly and their children Adam and Isaac, of Decatur, IL; granddaughter Christina Kopeika and husband Thomas and their daughter Liesl, of Higland Park, IL; sisters Wilma Cheslock of Pinehurst, NC, Mildred Ewart and Mary Swartzlander, both of Fairlawn, OH. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, grandson Edward Nicholas, and great-grandson William James. "
