Harold "Ted" Proctor, 89, of Cerro Gordo, died Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Fair Havens Christian Home. Memorial services will be at 11:00am, Thursday, December 27, at the Cerro Gordo United Methodist Church with visitation one hour prior. Masonic rites will at 10:45am. Private family burial will be in the Cerro Gordo Cemetery. Military rites to be conducted by the American Legion Post 117 Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Legion Post 117 Building Fund or to the Cerro Gordo United Methodist Church. "Ted" was born October 11, 1923, in Peoria, IL, the son of Harold S. Proctor and Hazel H. (Richardson) Proctor. He married Evelyn Joyce Morr in Cerro Gordo, IL on May 20, 1950. "Ted" was an electrician for 50 years and a member of the IBEW Local 146 Union. He served in the United States Marine Corp. during WWII. "Ted" is survived by his wife Evelyn; daughters Joyce C. (Ronald) Kirkland of Decatur, IL; Wanda C. Proctor of Fayetteville, AR; sons Carl L. (Lynne) Proctor of Cerro Gordo; Terry L. (Cheryl) Proctor of Collinsville, IL; Darin L. (Robin) Proctor of Indianapolis, IN; one brother Paul (Phyllis) Proctor of Decatur, IL; seven grandchildren; Ryan Kirkland, Jeremy Proctor, Taylor Proctor, Shelby Proctor, Jared Proctor, Braiden Proctor and Logan Proctor, and one great-grandchild Claire Elise Proctor. "Ted" was preceded in death by his parents, son Harold L. Proctor, daughter Cinda K. Proctor and brothers Richard, Dale, and Glenn Proctor. "
