Harold L. Good, 78, of Decatur, IL, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 10:00am at the Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur with visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 from 6-8:00pm. Burial will be at the Boiling Springs Cemetery in Decatur. Memorials can be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children or American Parkinson's Disease Association (APDA). Harold was born on May 17, 1934 the son of Fred and Nora (Britton) Good. He married Sharon Cook on July 4, 1959. Harold is survived by his wife Sharon, a daughter Anne Androff of Gardner, KS; a son Kevin Good of Cerro Gordo, IL; and a brother, Robert L Good of Anaheim, CA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Harold was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked for A.E. Staley Mfg. Co. as a construction manager for 30 years and retired from that position in 1993. Harold was a Shriner and a member of the Forsyth United Methodist Church. He lived in Cerro Gordo for 25 years and after his retirement moved to Kodak, TN. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Kenneth L. Good, and a brother, Stanley H. Good, and a sister Eleanor Hiser. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff nurses and CNA's of McKinley Court, DMH nursing staff, and DMH Hospice. "
