Harold F. Fleener, 87, of Decatur, IL, passed away Friday, May 24, 2019, at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation from 11:30 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Hammond Cemetery, Hammond, IL. Memorials may be made to First Church of the Nazarene, Decatur. Harold was born January 15, 1932, in Hammond, IL, son of Cecil and Lydia (Simmons) Fleener. He married Virginia Belcher June 2, 1952. She passed away March 6, 2002. He later married Mildred (Kayhs) Buttolph January 11, 2003. Harold was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Decatur and was a home builder. Surviving are his wife of 16 years, Mildred of Decatur; daughters: Karen (Danny) Lanter of Moweaqua, IL, Carol (Daniel) Baughman of Decatur, IL, and Connie (Ivan) Powell of Illiopolis, IL; son: Kenneth Fleener of Mt. Zion, IL; step-children: Brenda (Joe) Gutmann, Linda (Mike) Jones, Ben (Lisa) Buttolph, and Tom (Anne) Buttolph; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brother: William (Alene) Fleener of Summersville, MO; and sister: Juanita (Dean) Steward of Sullivan, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Virginia, brothers Wilbur and Ernest, sister Betty, and great-granddaughter Kryssiana. "
