Harold Elliott, a retired farmer from Warrensburg, IL, peacefully passed away at the age of 93, reuniting with his beloved wife Judy after a year apart.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, December 29, 2023, at Illini Congregational Church, Warrensburg, IL. Visitation will be 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be in Illini Cemetery, Warrensburg. Memorials in Harold’s honor may be made to Illini Congregational Church.
Harold was born on June 24, 1930, in Mount Auburn, IL to Edna Kaylor and Harry W. Elliott.
Harold and Judy married August 26, 1956. He is survived by his two daughters: Diana Burnett and her husband Dary; and Nancy Graven and her husband Mikel. Harold’s legacy lives on through his four grandchildren: Dary Burnett and his wife Christy, Derek Burnett, Kayla Graven, and Michelle Graven. Additionally, he is remembered by three great-grandchildren, Elliott Burnett, Reid Burnett, and Wade Burnett.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 66 years, Judy; twin brother Harry, and brother Ralston.
Harold and Judy were proud members of the beautiful church, Illini Congregational Church.
Harold was a devoted husband, a sweet loving grandpa, and a passionate conversationalist about farming and fishing. His meticulous care extended beyond the fields to his well-manicured lawn and extensive toy tractor collection, a testament to his attention to detail. May the memories he planted continue to grow in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
