Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 13, at Marrowbone Township Cemetery, Bethany, with military rites conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, August 12, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home.Mr. Morrison was born August 27, 1926, in Fancher, IL, the son of Paul and Hortense (Jackson) Morrison. He married Beverly Grubbs in January 1982, in Decatur. She preceded him in death in 2001. Mr. Morrison worked as a maintenance supervisor at Millikin Bank. He was a member of the VFW and the Moose Lodge. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran having served in WWII.He is survived by his daughter Amie Morrison of Decatur; sister Hester Schmidt of Forsyth; grandchildren: Kyyliegh Morrison, Chance, Chase, and Miles Ledwig; step daughter Anne Arthur and husband Ron of Neoga.He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
