Glenn Rex Falk, 95, of Decatur, IL, passed away Monday, September 14, 2015, at Imboden Creek Living Center, Decatur, IL. Per Rex's wishes, private services will be held. Military rites will be conducted by Macon County Honor Guard. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Macon County Honor Guard, 27 Madison Drive, Decatur, IL 62521. Rex was born March 1, 1920, in Herborn, IL, the son of Walter Henry and Hattie (Bridges) Falk. He married Mary Helen Moser on May 23, 1942 in Hannibal, MO. Rex was a Staff Sargent in the Army Air Corp, serving in WWII. He worked as a carpenter for the Local Union #742 for 68 years before retiring. Rex was a member of the American Legion Post #105. He is survived by his children Sue (Steve) Holsapple and Tom (Kathy) Falk, all of Decatur, IL; grandchildren Todd (Laurie) Holsapple of Mattoon, IL, Tracy (Daniel) Lott of Decatur, IL, Brian (friend Jennifer) Falk of Decatur, IL; great grandchildren Katie and Allie Holsapple, Kyleigh and Logan Lott. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother Harold. The family would like to thank Imboden Creek Living Center staff for their loving care and compassion given to Rex during his journey, and especially his "special angels" on Andrew Hall. "
