Memorial services will be held at a later date.Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.Mrs. Maldaner was born February 20, 1930, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of John Henry and Geraldine Virgina (Gaddis) Corey. She married Gordon Maldaner May 31, 1999, in Decatur, IL. She had previously married Monte Mountjoy who had preceded her in death.Mrs. Maldaner was employeed by Miles Chevrolet, formerly Fehrenbach Chevrolet, as a bookeeper. She also worked for Metzler Produce. Jo was an avid Cub Fan, enjoyed knitting, was a member of the Juvian Jazz Society and a member of Grace United Methodist Church.She is survived by her husband, Gordon Maldaner; one sister, Helene Virginia Childers of Davenport, Iowa; one brother, Robert (wife, Norma) Corey of Decatur, IL; 2 nieces and one nephew.She was preceded in death by both parents.
