Garline Lewis

Garline Lewis, 77, passed away in her home on April 14, 2019. Born on 12/18/1941 in Wheeler Kentucky. Memorial Services will be held on April 19, 2019 at Britlinger and Earl Funeral Home located at 2827 N Oakland Ave. in Decatur Illinois from 6pm to 8pm. All are welcome to attend this celebration of her life. There are so many things that could be said about Garline Lewis. She was an amazing friend, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She touched so many lives with her love and generosity. Garline loved her family dearly. In her final years, she enjoyed spending time with her Daughter, Son-in-law, and Grandkids. She spent many hours with her close friends, eagerly awaiting any opportunity to be with them. Garline lived for the smiles of those close to her, which she often provided to all those around her. In death as in life she would not like to see tears but smiles. One thing can be said for certain Garline will never be far from our thoughts and hearts. She was truly a beautiful soul, who will never be forgotten. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Lewis. She is survived by her son Rob Lewis of Pelham Al., Daughter and Son-in-law Linda and Aaron Ruebling, Grandchildren Kaitlin and Son-In-Law Rudy Nyberg, Brittany Lewis, Nicholas Ruebling and Leia Ruebling. Great Grandchildren Rudy and Elijah Nyberg.
