Fritz Wicker

Fritz Lloyd Wicker, 54, of Decatur, IL, passed away 6:07 p.m., Monday, January 12, 2015, at St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 16, 2015, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, January 15, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. Fritz was born January 12, 1961 in Decatur, IL, the son of Raymond Frederick and Verdia Eileen (Jones) Wicker. He married Toni June Schrishuhn on October 20, 2006 in Decatur, IL. Fritz worked for Black and Company, Superior Welding, Zexel, and most recently at Mueller Company for almost nine years. He loved to fish and hunt and always looked forward to his yearly fishing trip to Reelfoot, TN. He is survived by his wife Toni; children Chelsey M. Bardfield and husband Justin, Corey M. Wicker, all of Decatur, IL; father and stepmother Fred and wife Karen of Decatur; mother Eileen Iverson of Decatur; grandchild Aubrey Bardfield of Decatur; sisters Tammy Burns and husband George of Decatur, Candy Loyd and husband Mike of Monticello, IL, Amy Kane and husband Neil of Naperville, IL; stepdaughters Jennifer Tohill of Maroa, IL, Nicole Wilson of Mt. Zion, IL; 4 step grandchildren, 2 nephews, 3 nieces; and his dog Pluto. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. The family would like to give special thanks to the ICU staff at St. Mary's Hospital for their wonderful care given to Fritz. "
