Frances Webb

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 9, at Graceland Cemetery, with visitation from noon until 1:30 p.m. at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Frances was born January 18, 1923 in Rock Island, Illinois, the daughter of Patrick and Elizabeth (Harris) Mulvihill. She married Virgil L. Webb on February 19, 1946, in Decatur. He preceded her in death in 1997.Frances worked as a waitress and as a custodian with janitorial services, retiring in 1992. She enjoyed crocheting, and taking bus trips to Branson, Missouri, Wisconsin, and other destinations with her daughter. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her son Donald E. Webb and daughter Sharon A. Perryman, both of Decatur; 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother William Harvey Mulvihill of Missouri. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Mary Matthews, infant sister Emily Mulvihill, brother Donald Mulvihill, and half brother Harry Bell. "
