Frances Johnson

A private family funeral will be held at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, March 11. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memorial Park, Richland County, IL. Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, is handling the arrangements.Memorials may be made to the Childrens Museum of Illinois, 55 South Country Club Rd., Decatur, IL 62521.Mrs. Johnson was born July 28, 1911, the daughter of Charles E. and Cora A. (Adamson) Berlin. She married Ellis Lee Johnson November 28, 1946 in Lawrence County, IL. He preceded her in death in 1973. Mrs. Johnson taught for 37 years at the Bridgeport Public Schools. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Bridgeport, IL. She is survived by her daughter: H.R. Johnson Glenn and husband Robert of Decatur, IL; step-children: Carma Lee Garvin and husband Dan of Kansas City, MO, Robert Johnson and wife Sharon of Kansas City, MO, and Martha Ann Clegg; grandchildren: Kris Glenn of Modesto, CA, David Glenn and wife Amy of Mahomet, IL, and Jennifer Horoho and husband Casey of Fishers, IN; great grandchildren: Jackson Glenn, Carter Glenn, McKinzie Horoho, and Owen Horoho.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Erle Berlin.The family would like to give special thanks to Callie Terry and the staff at Imboden Creek Living Center for their care and support.
