Frances Emerick

Frances M. Emerick, 97, of Decatur, IL, died 9:23 P.M., Monday, October 10, 2011, at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL. Memorial service will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 15, 2011, at Warrensburg United Methodist Church, Warrensburg, IL. Graveside service will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, October 15, 2011, at Illini Cemetery, Warrensburg, IL. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, will be assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to Donor's Choice. Frances was born September 3, 1914 in Chestnut, IL, the daughter of Harm and Tassie (Rodenbeck) Westen. She married William Hershel Emerick on February 29, 1940 in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death on February 7, 1980. Frances was a member of Warrensburg United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening and loved her flowers. She was an avid U of I and St. Louis Cardinal fan. Frances was a member of Latham Eastern Star OES # 507 and Mt. Pulaski Women's Club. She is survived by her daughters Arlene F. Munyon of Warrensburg, IL, Elaine Beam and husband Curt of Warrensburg, IL; grandchildren Kelley Alteri, Brent Munyon II, Stacey Connolly, Jason Munyon, Kerry Rinker; 16 great grandchildren; step granddaughter Jennifer Beam; 1 step great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 7 brothers and sisters, and son-in-law Brent. "
