Frances Bottom

Frances L. Bottom passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on Monday morning, December 10, 2012, at her home. Visitation will be Thursday, December 13, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, 2827 N. Oakland Avenue, Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 14, 2012, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, with Reverend Michael Karunas providing the message. Graveside services will be 12:30 P.M., Friday, December 14, at Waverly East Cemetery, Waverly, IL. Memorials may be made to Central Christian Church Pre-School. Fran was a teller at Busey Bank and was awarded Teller of the Year for 3 consecutive years. Prior to Busey, Fran was an Associate at J.C. Penney where she worked in the catalog department for several years. Fran loved working with people and treasured the many wonderful relationships she developed with her clients over the years. Fran, along with her husband David, are members of Central Christian Church, Decatur, IL. She truly embraced the grace of God and believed in the power of prayer. While her family knows she has moved on to a heavenly home, she will be greatly missed by those who love her. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, David Bottom; children Brian, Kerry and Kevin, and grandchildren Nicholas, Mary, Broderick and Alyssa. Fran loved her family and dedicated herself to their well-being and happiness. She especially enjoyed the holidays, having family together. She loved cooking great holiday feasts with all the trimmings. Fran truly cherished her children and grandchildren. "
