Florence Cleary

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 24, 2008, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 23, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.Florence was born January 23, 1919 in Decatur, the daughter of Gaines and Grace (Goodwin) Walker. She married Kenneth M. Cleary July 12, 1945 in Decatur, IL. Florence worked at the railroad Y for many years. She also worked at St. Marys Hospital and the Macon County Health Department. She was an avid bowler and Lifetime member and Past President of the Roach School PTA.Florence is survived by her two daughters Charlene Maples of Lincoln, IL, and Julie Delabre (Lemanczyk) of Decatur, IL; four grandchildren, Scott Walker of Champaign, IL, Cindy (David) Turner, Tiffany and Lyndsay Lemanczyk; three great grandchildren, Talley Walker and Dylan and Shelby Turner; two sisters, Mona Hopper of California and Marilyn (Ronald) Goodrich of Decatur, IL. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.Her parents, husband, son, grandson, two sisters, and several nieces and nephews preceded her in death.
