Felix Hale

Felix Hale, 87, of Sullivan, IL passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the Sullivan Rehab and Healthcare Facility in Sullivan, IL. Cremation rites were accorded. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 13, 2019, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home in Cerro Gordo, IL. Felix was born on July 27, 1931, the son of Alonzo Hale. He married Karen Chapman in Crown Point, IN on Oct. 21, 1961 and she survives. Felix was a switchman for the B&O Railroad and a truck driver with Staley Express Trucking. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and liked to go fishing. Felix is survived by his wife Karen, one daughter, Pennee Mae (Hale) Lampres of Park Ridge, IL; two grandsons, Matthew and Nathan Lampres of Park Ridge, IL; one brother, Jesse Wayne Hale (wife, Joan) of East Hazel Crest, IL, and one sister, Lurlene of Winchester, TN. Felix was preceded in death by his parents.
