Everett A. Wentz, 85, of Decatur, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025 at Decatur Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.
Private family services will be held. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, is assisting the family.
Everett was born January 22, 1940 in Peoria, the son of William E. and Mary E (Tilbury) Wentz. He married Patricia Snider on September 18, 1971 in Chillicothe. Everett proudly served our country in the US Navy. He worked for Burks Pumps in Decatur, retiring after 28 years. Everett loved motorcycles and antique cars, owning a 91 Harley, a 38 Ford, a Hudson, and a Maserati.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Patricia; son, Tony and wife Linda and many nieces and nephews.
Everett was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
