Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 9, at Wheeler Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 8, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur.Memorials may be made to Hemophilia Foundation.Evelyn was born October 3, 1918, in Decatur, the youngest of 12 children born to David and Ida Margaret (Rucker) Wheeler. She married John W. Morey, Sr. on May 25, 1940, in St. Louis. Missouri, and they shared 70 years of marriage together.Evelyn was always proud of sharing her early childhood. Her tales of growing up on a farm, milking cows, riding horses, and caring for her pet pig were conveyed to the delight of others. She was delighted to be cared for as the Baby of her family.Evelyn attended Harvest Christian Center.Surviving are her husband John of Decatur; daughters Ethel Crouch and friend Al Gonzalez of Lake Station, IN, Betty B.J. Wade and Dorothy Dot (Gary) Janvrin, all of Decatur, IL; grandchildren Susan Maloney, Sandra Maslikowski, Sharon Rose, Matthew Radencic, Shelly Lowden, Annette Zaske, Carissa Hayes, and several great-grandchildren.Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, son John W. Butch Morey, Jr., grandson Mark Radencic, and 11 siblings. "
