Evelyn Hoffman

Evelyn J. Hoffman, 93, of Lovington passed away peacefully August 4, 2021. Graveside service will be 10:00 AM, Monday August 9, 2021 at Point Pleasant Cemetery, Decatur. Memorials in Evelyn’s honor may be made to a charity of your choice. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, Decatur, is assisting the family with arrangements. Evelyn was born June 2, 1928 near Argenta, the daughter of Charles and Vilena (Augustus) Marsh. She married Edward Hoffman on April 10, 1949 in Maroa. He preceded her in death on December 12, 2018. Evelyn was a member of the Macon County Home Extension, Long Creek Home Extension and the Decatur Garden Club. She is survived by her sons: Ronald E. Hoffman (Janet), David “Randy” Hoffman, and Timothy S. Hoffman (Laura); five grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Hoffman; one brother and three sisters.
