Evelyn Brazle

Evelyn Roberta (Garrett) Brazle, 84, of Decatur, IL, passed away on Saturday, October 11, at Symphony of Decatur nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 13, at Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL, with visitation from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Memorials may be made to Homeward Bound Pet Shelter. Evelyn was born November 6, 1929, in Decatur, the daughter of Walden and Daisy (DeLong) Taylor. Evelyn married Richard Garrett on June 19, 1949. He passed away November 19, 1980. She married Bill Belcher on August 12, 1983. He passed away August 24, 1988. She later married Woody Brazle on July 19, 1990. He passed away January 9, 1994. Surviving are her daughters: Mrs. Sally Green of Decatur, IL, Mrs. (Danny) Nancy Hunter of Decatur, IL, Mrs. (James) Lori Marsh of Wausau, WI; bonus daughter Mrs. (Christopher) Maria Bichsel of Quincy, IL; brother Jack Taylor and wife Grace of Decatur, IL; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, 3 husbands, 1 sister, 1 granddaughter, 1 great-granddaughter, and son-in-law Jerry Green. "
