Evelyn Dominick Bocock, 89, of Decatur, IL, died Sunday, April 13, 2014, at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at East Park Baptist Church, 1919 S. Baltimore Avenue, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to East Park Baptist Church. Evelyn was born June 8, 1924 in Mississippi, the daughter of Louie and Beatrice Dominick. She married Philip Gordon Bocock on February 14, 1943 in Liberty, Mississippi. He preceded her in death. Evelyn was a member of East Park Baptist Church. She worked at St. Mary's Hospital in housekeeping. She is survived by her children Carol Fultz of Decatur, IL; son Philip W. (Wendy) Bocock of Bloomington, IL; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Philip, and five brothers and sisters. The family would like to thank McKinley Court and their staff for the care and compassion given to Evelyn the past four years, especially Lisa Williams. "
