Eva Marjorie Morgan passed away and entered God's Kingdom on September 26 at the age of 92 years. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 3, 2013, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m., Thursday, October 3, at Greenwood Cemetery, Decatur, IL.She was born on February 17,1921, the youngest daughter of Florence and Aden Washburn in Decatur,IL. Eva married George R. Morgan on December 4, 1937 in St. Louis, Mo. She was preceded in death by George, her husband of 53 years and two grandchildren. Surviving are children, Donald R. (Ann) Morgan of Ft. Wayne IN, Gary (Sharon) Morgan of Assumption, IL, Sharlene (Art) Hemmerlein of Knoxville, TN. and Darlene (Doug) Binge of Decatur, IL. Eva lived most of her life in Decatur, IL. At the time of her death, she resided in Knoxville, TN. Eva was very proud of her children and grandchildren and the success they achieved. She enjoyed her four children, ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Eva was a homemaker. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing the holiday dinners for her extended family. Her specialties included cakes, pies and breads. She was an avid canner of tomatoes and peaches. Eva loved playing cards especially poker and pinochle. She was a fierce competitor but loved the camaraderie of playing with family. She loved to travel. In her later years, she enjoyed cruises with her family and living in Tennessee, Delaware and Maine after spending most of her life in Central IL. She will be dearly missed. "
