Eva Mae Bledsaw Galloway, 94, of Decatur, IL, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, February 23, 2012. Celebration of her life will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 29, 2012, at Second Church of God, Decatur, IL, with visitation 6 to 8 P.M., Tuesday, February 28, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to Second Church of God or DMH Hospice. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL will be handling the arrangements. Eva was born April 16, 1917, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of William and Ada C. (Trueblood) Bledsaw. She was the second of seven children. Eva married Carroll Maddox in 1939 in St. Charles, MO. She later married Clark Galloway on June 2, 1956 in Macon, IL. He preceded her in death on July 6, 1992. She didn't always have an easy life, but her faith in God helped to sustain her. Mother was a very loving, giving person who loved to give to others. She worked hard to provide for her family. Eva worked at Hi-Flyer Kite and Decatur Window Cleaners. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Eva was a member of Second Church of God & was dedicated to her church, although in recent years she could not attend because of health reasons. She is survived by her children Patsy Tague (Marvon) of Mt. Zion, IL, Pam Hinton (Donnie) of Decatur, IL; grandchildren Tim Tague (Ely) of Decatur, Randy Tague (Shawnda) of Mt. Zion, Kris Tague (Sandy) of Sacramento, CA, David Tague (Phyllis) of Mt. Zion, Mark Trudeau (Crissy) of Forsyth, Sandy Trudeau and Daron Trudeau of Blue Mound, Doug Hinton of WI, and Chris Hinton of NJ; 20 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; sister Beulah Giles of Assumption, IL; brothers Walter Bledsaw of Decatur, IL and Jack Bledsaw of Bollingbrook, IL; and many special nieces, nephews, and in-laws. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Ralph & Don Bledsaw, sister Vivian Bundy, special nephews, niece, and in-laws. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Baumberger and DMH Hospice staff, especially Diane Cavanaugh for her loving care, her wonderful neighbors Mary and Charles Stine, Kyra & Chuck Carlson and Bev Eagleton, caregivers Kim, Judy, Destini, Teresa, Jane, Daron and Michelle, and mother's precious Sandy & Maddy. She loved you all dearly. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends who loved her, but we know she is with her Lord & loved ones who preceded her. "
