Eulavohne Good

Eulavohne M. Good went to her heavenly home on Friday, June 14, 2019. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 12:00pm at Life Foursquare Church with visitation two hours before the service. Burial will be at a later date at Boiling Springs Cemetery; Decatur, IL.Born August 19, 1927, Decatur IL of Leslie and Elma (Hedgpeth) Butler, Eulavohne graduated from Decatur High School in 1945 and married Richard Franklin Good on June 29, 1946 in Decatur. She and Richard had 61 wonderful years together serving their Lord until Richard passed away on November 6, 2007. She loved spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her sons, Dale Franklin Good of Mount Pleasant SC (Star) and Dennis Richard Good of Mundelein IL (Nancy); grandchildren Brian C. Good (Blaine), Bradley A. Good (April), Ashley B. (Good) Berndt (Scott), and Micah D. Good; great grandchildren Reese C. Berndt, Jack T. Berndt, Harvey A. Good, and Harrison D. Good. In addition to her beloved husband Richard, Eulavohne was preceded in death by her parents Leslie and Elma Butler, brothers Leonard and Donald Butler and daughter-in-law Sandra K. Minderman Good (Dale). Eulavohne joined The Foursquare Church in 1950, and served faithfully in many areas: choir, Sunday School Department, deacon server, and United Foursquare Women Missions Group. She volunteered in the DMH Auxiliary Ladies and at a crisis pregnancy center. She was employed for more than 32 years with Illinois Power Company and was a realtor at Lyle Campbell & Son for six years. Gifts in her memory may be given to Life Foursquare Church or donor’s choice. "
