Eugenia C. Julius, 88, of Sullivan, IL, formerly of Mt. Zion, IL, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Sullivan Rehab & Healthcare Center, Sullivan, IL. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 18, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation from 9:30 - 10:00 a.m., prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or the Arthritis Foundation. Eugenia was born September 12, 1924 in Harristown, IL, the daughter of Leslie B. King and Anna Frances (Glelonek). She worked for Millikin National Bank and was a member of Decatur Women's Club, Decatur Christian Association, and Home Economics Association with the U of I college for many years. Eugenia enjoyed making crafts all year. Eugenia was a member of First Nazarene Church and also attended Tabernacle Baptist Church. She is survived by her son Gary E. Julius and wife Ellie of Taylorville, IL; sister Betty Taylor and husband Dr. Charles Taylor; brother-in-law Merlin Scott, all of Decatur, IL; two nephews and four nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Louise Whaley and Mildred Scott, brothers Everett King and Leslie King, Jr. The family would like to give special thanks to Sullivan Rehab and Health Care Center and Harbor Light Hospice for all of their care and compassion.
