She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Roger, brothers Jack, Bill and Ted, and one sister. Mom was the kind of person that would give you the shirt off her back. If she knew you needed something she had, she would give it to you and do without herself. She didn't have much in her life, never owned a home or car, but if she could bake it or make it she would. At one time she was into making dolls and giving them away. The people that lived in her building thought they were pretty lucky to have her for a neighbor. If you went to the store for her or helped her hang a picture in her apartment, she'd make you a pie or sometimes cook you a whole meal. At 80 years old she had an accident and broke her back and we had to take her to Fair Havens Christian Home. The staff is wonderful and Mom made friends with a lot of them that felt she needed a little extra treat occasionally and would bring her things to eat that she really didn't need, but at her age why should we deny her a few small pleasures. Thank you and God Bless each one of you for making Mom feel at home "
