Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 2, 2010, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church.Lois was born October 30, 1936, in Redfield, SD, the daughter of Walter Henry and Esther Mildred (Swanson) Stinnett. She married James McKinney and they later divorced.Lois was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She worked in the Citizens Bank cafeteria, the DMH coffee shop and later at McKinley Court as a kitchen assistant. Lois enjoyed fishing, bowling, and playing bingo. She loved her family dearly.She is survived by her son William (Brenda) McKinney of Goldsboro, NC; grandson Brad McKinney of Phoenix, AZ; great grandchildren Carly Lundert of Scottsdale, AZ, Brandon McKinney of Dallas, TX; sisters Charlotte (Richard) Fortner of Decatur, IL; Ethel (Charles) Baker of Harristown, IL.She was preceded in death by her parents, son James Paul Pete McKinney, and brother Roger Stinnett.
