Essie Patricia "Pat" Binkley

Essie Patricia “Pat” Binkley, 88, of Decatur, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2023 surrounded by her family.
Funeral service will be 12:00 PM, Monday, November 6, 2023 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Visitation will be 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Pat was born April 12, 1935 in West Frankfort, IL, the daughter of George and Margaret (Houston) Pritchett. She married Clifford Binkley, Jr on April 16, 1951 and he preceded her in death on July 22, 2009. Pat loved spending time with her family, especially her daughter and grandchildren. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family. Pat also enjoyed playing games like Bunko and Uno. She also loved going shopping with her daughter, Debra and they had many shopping trips together. Pat loved her Lord and attended Gospel Chapel in Decatur.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra and husband, Larry Rigg of Decatur; daughter-in-law, Audrey Binkley; 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law: Diane and Betty.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifford Binkley, Jr.; children: Vicki Binkley, Doug Binkley, Chuck Binkley, Clifford Anthony Binkley; 8 brothers, and 3 sisters.
