Ena "Marlene" Gagliano

Ena “Marlene” Gagliano, 93, of Decatur, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Lincolnshire Place in Decatur.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be observed, and a memorial service will be held at a later date at Oak Grove Church of the Nazarene. Memorial contributions may be made to Oak Grove Church of the Nazarene.

Marlene was born on October 20, 1932, the daughter of Kenneth W. and Ena Louis (Smart) Stonebraker. She attended Decatur High School and dedicated over 30 years of service as a press operator at F.W. Means/Aramark before retiring. A devoted member of Oak Grove Church of the Nazarene, Marlene enjoyed crocheting, cooking, playing bingo, and gardening in her younger years. She also loved watching westerns on television and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her two sons, Thomas (Bev) Hackney and George (Tami) Hackney, both of Decatur; her sister, Linda (Charles) Bliss of Maroa; eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three nieces; and one nephew.

Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, her son Kenneth Hackney, and her sister Donna Whitaker.
