Emma A. Sebens, 97, of Macon, IL, formerly of Decatur, IL, passed away at 1:45 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2012 at Eastern Star Home, Macon, IL. Memorial Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Monday, July 16, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made Eastern Star Home, 9890 Star Lane, Macon, IL 62544. Emma was born March 11, 1915, in Milmine, IL, the daughter of Robert Lee and Mabel (Stuckey) Baker. She married Lloyd J. Sebens December 30, 1967, in Decatur. He preceded her in death on December 19, 1995. Emma was a member of First United Methodist Church in Decatur. She worked as a bookkeeper for Illinois Livestock Marketing Association, Security Savings and Loan, and then at Sebens Concrete for 20 years. Emma was a member of Guiding Light Chapter #1016, O.E.S. and Daughsis. Surviving are her stepchildren: Sue Sebens Johnson and husband Thomas of San Diego, CA and Gary L. Sebens and wife Vivian of Mt. Zion, IL; step-grandchildren: Gregory Johnson, Melanie Rocks, Aileen Lauer, Paula Sebens, and Alex Sebens; and seven great-grandchildren. Emma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Floyd Long; deceased in 1952, brothers Charles and Robert Baker, step-granddaughter Penny Timmons, and sister-in-law Mary E. Baker. "
