Emma Adrian

Emma C. Adrian, 79, of Decatur, IL, died 6:12 A.M., Friday, November 2, 2012, at Heartland Health Care, Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, November 10, 2012, at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 2055 S. Franklin, Decatur, IL, with vistitation one hour prior to service time at the church. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, will be handling the arrangements. Memorials may be made to Millikin University School of Nursing. Emma was born November 27, 1932, in Taylorville, IL, the daughter of William and Emma (Swedick) Adams. She received her Registered Nursing diploma from Decatur Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1953. She also received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Illinois University. Emma was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and A.A.U.W. She is survived by her children Emmy (Scott) Moore of Decatur, IL, Frank Adrian of Portland, OR, Robert (Martha) Adrian of Quincy, IL, Nancy (Kevin) Smith of Lake Forest, IL, Mary (Roger) Nunlist of Cincinnati, OH, Thomas (Jodi) Adrian of Glenside, PA; grandchildren Adam Moore, Nick Moore, Andrew Adrian-Karlin, Caroline Adrian-Karlin, Robert Adrian, Laura Adrian, Michael Adrian, Allison Smith, Ashley Smith, Samuel Nunlist, Emily Nunlist, Evelyn Adrian-Heldon, and Nathan Adrian; sisters Ruth Ferchow and Alice Simpson, both of Taylorville, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Tom and Bill Adams, and sister MaryAnn Durbin. "
