Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 2, 2009, at Brintlinger and Earl Cerro Gordo Funeral Home, Cerro Gordo, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Cerro Gordo Cemetery, Cerro Gordo, IL.Memorials may be made to the Piatt County Nursing Home.Elsie was born February 21, 1912, in Lodge, IL, the daughter of Ensel and Velva (Dalton) Gadbury. She married Everett W. Snoke on June 8, 1931, in Sullivan, IL. He preceded her in death.Elsie graduated from Monticello High School in 1931. She was a cook at Cerro Gordo High School for 24 years and loved visiting with friends and reading.She is survived by her daughter Marlene (Lester) Rewerts of Urbana, IL; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; brother Les Gadbury of Monticello, IL.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Elizabeth Schlanser, 4 sisters and 2 brothers.Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com.
