Elsie Elizabeth Hiser, 96, of Columbus, OH, formerly of Decatur, IL, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Columbus Care Center.Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday (05-25-2016) at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Elsie was born January 17, 1920, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Marshall and Sarah Elizabeth (Ping) Hobbs. She married Willis John Hiser on October 1, 1947, in Decatur. He preceded her in death in February 2004.Elsie was a member of Reynoldsburg Methodist Church in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.Surviving are her daughter-in-law: Sharon Hiser of Galloway, OH; granddaughter: Nicole Ott and husband Bryan of Galloway, OH; great-grandchildren: Jordan, Seaira, Payton and Kami; great-great-grandchildren: Sarayah and Cash.Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Philip, and granddaughter Bryna.
