Eloise Bowser, 85, of Decatur, IL, passed away Friday, April 10, 2015, in her home. A private family graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Riverton, IL. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, is assisting the family with the arrangements. Memorials may be made to: Decatur Evergreen Resident Benevolent Fund. Eloise was born May 18, 1929, in Ford City, PA, the daughter of Carl and Mildred (Smith) Wiser. She married Hubert Vincent Bowser on January 22, 1949, in Ford City. He preceded her in death. Eloise was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving are her seven children: Donald V. Bowser and wife Shirlene of Bethany, IL, Connie Jones of Mt. Zion, IL, Sue Griffin and husband Craig of Decatur, IL, Samuel Bowser and wife Theresa of Decatur, IL, Kim Christy and husband Kenneth of Decatur, IL, Sandy Mulligin and husband James of Springfield, IL, and Bobby Bowser and wife Christy of Ogden, IL. Also surviving are ten grandchildren: Travis Batman, Kevin Bowser, Michael Griffin, Jodi Bowser, Autumn Christy, Ryan Bowser, Colton Bowser, Cayln Bowser, Trent Mulligin, and Austin Mulligin; five great-grandchildren: and sister Pat Karl of Kershaw, S.C. Eloise was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Dan Wiser, and sister Jean Schultz. The family would like to give a special thank you to St. John's Hospice, in particular Bethany. "
