Elmo Oglesby

A celebration of her life will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, December 6, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Boody, IL. Memorials may be made to American Heart and Stroke Association.Elmo was born in Mt. Vernon on September 7, 1914, the daughter of Elmer and Ethel Blaylock. She retired from Eldorado Apparel Garment Factory. Elmo loved and was loved by family and friends and will remain in our hearts forever. She enjoyed sewing and quilting. Elmo was Baptist.She is survived by her daughters Connie (Deverick) Gaither of Homosassa, FL, Donna (L-Jean) Rosenberger and husband Earl of Lenior, NC; son Ron Oglesby and special friend Marquinn Reid of Inverness, FL; her beloved parrot Bingo; 12 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren.
