Elmer Ray Shackelford, 62, of Warrensburg, IL, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m., Monday, April 14, 2014, at Illini Cemetery, Warrensburg, IL, with visitation from 10:30 - 11:00 a.m., Monday, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to Charity of Choice. Elmer was born March 12, 1952 in Decatur, IL, the son of Howard Joseph and Eliza (Peters) Shackelford. He formerly worked at Firestone as a tire builder. He is survived by his brother Richard Turner of Columbus, OH; sisters Betty (Dan) Fisher of Decatur, IL and Jeanie Zientara of Mississippi; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Ruth Moon. "
