Ellen Clark

Ellen Jean Clark, 74, of Decatur, IL, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2012, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services, officiated by Pastor Robert Bruer, will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 5, at Concordia Lutheran Church, Decatur. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Sunday, March 4, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday, March 5, at Brady Cemetery, Akin, IL. Memorials may be made to Concordia Lutheran Church. Ellen was born October 21, 1937, in Stewardson, IL, the daughter of Fred and Bertha (Klepzig) Kruger. She married Clifford Clark on April 27, 1958, in Stewardson. Ellen was a retired Registered Nurse and a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. She enjoyed traveling and spoiling her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Clifford of Decatur, IL; mother Bertha Kruger of Stewardson, IL; daughter Carla (Luis) Paz of Decatur, IL and son Kevin (Laurie) Clark of Palm Harbor, FL. She was a beloved grandmother to Matthew, Andrew, Ellie, and Mallory. Ellen was preceded in death by her father.
