Elizabeth Ruth (Betty) Roberts, 87, died at 5:00 A.M. May 4, 2016, at McKinley Court.Betty was born October 22, 1928 in Decatur to Theron and Mildred Rankin. She married Corbet Roberts on July 24, 1948, and he preceded her in death in October 1996. Betty was a member of Second Church of God.Betty is survived by two brothers, Dewey (Irene) Rankin of Decatur and David (Betty) Rankin of Springfield; several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and one sister.Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, with visitation from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Burial will be in Point Pleasant Cemetery, Long Creek, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Second Church of God. The family would like to thank McKinley Court for their excellent care of Betty. "
