Elizabeth Pillsbury

Libby was born October 1, 1937 in Mexico, MO, the daughter of Stanley and Dorothy (Medley) York. Libby married Bruce L. Pillsbury on May 28, 1983 in Decatur, IL. She worked as an administrative assistant for the State of Illinois, retiring in 2002, and was very active in the Republican Party. Libbyloved flower gardening, shopping, spending time with her grandchildren and her beloved Saint Bernard, Dakota and traveling, especially to visit family in Denver, CO and Norwalk, CT. Libby is survived by her husband, Bruce; her two sons Bill Golden of Springfield, IL and his wife Rasa and Mike Golden; three daughters: Gabrielle Ann Golden-Jones and her husband Michael of St Charles, MO; Lisa Triantafiidis and her husband Angelo of Norwalk, CT; and Bridgette Garrison and her husband Dave of Westminster, CO; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Libby was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter; Roxanne Rachford and one granddaughter; Elisavet Triantafilidis.Visitation will be Tuesday, May 31, 2011, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Graveside services will be at 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 1, 2011, Rose Hill Cemetery, Petersburg, IL.
