Elizabeth Johnson

Elizabeth Catherine Colclasure Johnson former Effingham resident died Friday, February 26, 2021, at Tanglewood Village in Decatur. Elizabeth was born December 6, 1940, in Taylorville, the daughter of Foy Colclasure and Freda Bailor Colclasure. She married Monte Johnson May 9, 1988. He preceded her in death May 4, 2003. Survivors include sons, Timothy Ingram, Casey, IL and James Brian Ingram, Greenup, IL; three grandchildren: Mahalie, William Colton and Lindsey Ingram; her special niece Karen Mogonye of FL, special nephew David Coins of NC, other nieces and nephews; brother Roy Colclasure, sister Sheila Connelly, and very special friends – Marcia and Gene Vidoni of Casey, IL She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Joan Bertinetti and Joyce Coins and a brother Richard Colclasure. She wished to thank the staff at Tanglewood Village and especially John and Liz Holmgren for their special care. No services will be held and she donated her body to the Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois. "
