Elizabeth Bossle

Elizabeth "Betty" G. Bossle, 90, of Niantic, IL, passed away at 4:03 a.m. Saturday, Septmeber 26, 2015 at Decatur Memorial Hospital. A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 3, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to Northeast Community Fund or Homeward Bound. Betty was born March 25, 1925 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Lubagski) George. She married Norman E. Bossle in 1948. He preceded her in death in 1984. Betty attended the Niantic United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading and knitting. Surviving are her daughter: Faith Vaught of Niantic, IL; grandchildren: Adam Vaught and wife Heather of Chicago, IL, Laura Vaught and husband David Phanauf of Springfield, IL, Grant Vaught of Washington, DC; and soon to be first great-grandson due to arrive in 6 weeks. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and three sisters. "
