Elgene “Jean” Minnie Morrison, 102, passed away on November 20, 2024 in Decatur, Illinois.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home in Decatur, IL. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home.

Jean was born December 5, 1921, in Mattoon, IL. The daughter of Cecil and Wilmeth (Roberts) Scott. She married Jack Donald Morrison on April 26, 1942, in St. Charles, MO.

She loved spending time with her family and spent her life creating a happy and loving home for them.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Donna Bruner and Sue Kelly; her 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, and her sister Barbara Specht.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack, 4 brothers, and 2 sons-in-law.
