Edward Krall

Edward A. Krall, 91, of Decatur, IL, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at his residence. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Cerro Gordo Cemetery, Cerro Gordo, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sharon United Methodist Church. Edward was born June 29, 1920 in Hammond, IL, the son of Henry M. and Lola B. (Bell) Krall. He married Rosa E. Oxley on May 28, 1949 in Chicago, IL. She preceded him in death on April 21, 2011. Edward was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church and was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in WWII. He is survived by his daughter Deborah Myles and husband Vic; grandsons Norman Mears and Nick Mears; great granddaughter Brylee Mears, all of Decatur, IL; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 61 years, Rosa, son Norman Krall, 3 sisters and 6 brothers. "
