Edna Schultz

Edna Schultz, 80, of Decatur, IL, died 1:40 P.M., Monday, July 21, 2008, at her residence. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M., Saturday, July 26, 2008, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Point Pleasant Cemetery, Long Creek, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Good Samaritan Inn.Edna was born July 30, 1927, in LaPlace, IL, the daughter of Guy H. and Fannie (Kestner) Lourash. She married John W. Schultz on November 28, 1946 in Decatur, IL. He preceded her in death in November 2000.Edna retired from St. Marys Hospital as an admitting clerk. She was a member of St. Marys Retirees and R.S.V.P. Edna would like to thank her son John, and his wife Linda and Pam, Debbie, and Vicki for their love and kindness. The family would also like to thank Hospice and caregivers Judy and Amanda.Edna is survived by her son John P. Schultz and wife Linda of Forsyth, IL; grandchildren Jonathan Schultz and wife Jana of St. Peters, MO, Andrea Schultz and significant other Nick Barthelemy of Decatur, IL; great grandchildren Cole and Lincoln Schultz of St. Peters, MO; brother Paul D. Lourash and wife Bonnie of East Peoria, IL; sister-in-law Kay Lourash of Forsyth, IL and Jane Lourash of East Peoria, IL.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John W. and brothers David, Leonard and Don.
