Edna Moore

Edna Joanne Moore, 81, of Decatur, IL, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Prairie Rose Healthcare Center, Pana, IL.Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 20, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, August 19, at the funeral home. Burial will be in North Fork Cemetery, Decatur. Memorials may be made to Barnes Hospital or Prairie Rose Healthcare, Pana, IL.Edna was born February 16, 1937, in Decatur, daughter of Roscoe and Ethel Mae (Scroggins) Jacobs. She married Earl N. Moore June 2, 1956 in Decatur. He preceded her in death March 11, 2011.Edna worked at Earl Moore Disposal Inc. along with her husband.Edna was a member of West Decatur Church of God. She enjoyed spending time with her dog Murphy and family.Surviving are her sons Edward N. Moore and wife Kathy of Decatur, David A. Moore and wife Kim of Maroa; daughters Nancy J. Shields and husband John of Harristown, Jill A. Koehler and husband Joe of Decatur; seven grandchildren, three step grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one step great-grandchild, many nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law Mary Scroggins, Iola Beck, Rosie (Alvin) Butler, and Donna White.Edna was preceded in death by her parents, husband Earl, two brothers and three sisters.
