Edna I. Hale, 94, of Branson, MO., formerly of Decatur, IL, passed away at 4:30 a.m. Friday, April 25, 2014, at Ozark Nursing and Care Center, Ozark, MO. Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, April 28, at Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, Decatur, are assisting the family with the arrangements. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association or Donor's Choice. Edna was born September 8, 1919, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Everette and Ida (Weidner) Inman. She married Charles Neil Hale on July 29, 1940, in St. Charles, MO. He preceded her in death. Edna formerly worked as a secretary at Millikin University in Decatur. Surviving are her son Charles N. Hale, Jr. "Chuck" and wife Ginny, Branson, MO.; brother Everett J. (Betty) Inman, Decatur, IL.; grandchildren, Cara (Robert) Emes, Fresno, CA.; Cory Hale, Hendersonville, TN.; step grandson James (Tammy) Shaw, Clever, MO.; step-great grandson Garrett Shaw; and great-granddaughters Vivi and Vera Hale. Edna was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles and two brothers. "
