Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL.Memorials may be made to Fair Havens Christian Home.Edith was born September 2, 1923, in West Union, Iowa, the daughter of Guy A. and Bertha (Daggett) Snow. She married Gene L. Whittington on September 4, 1948 in Springfield, IL. He preceded her in death on May 10, 1974.Edith worked at Sangamon Electric in Springfield, IL, Holiday Inn in Decatur, IL, Progress School in Decatur, IL, YWCA in Decatur, IL and St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, IL.She is survived by her children Chuck Whittington and wife Twyla of Decatur, IL, Sandy Whittington of Cleveland, TN, Linda Mathias of Harristown, IL, Vicki Hutchins and husband Greg of Mt. Auburn, IL; grandchildren Christy Schultz and husband Nate of Clinton, IL, Frank Whittington and wife Autumn of Decatur, IL, Nikki Whittington and Josh Whittington, both of Decatur, IL, Becky Honeyman and husband Brian of Mt. Auburn, IL, Greg Hutchins and wife Christy of Mt.
