Earsel Boyd Alexander, 66, of Bethany, died Monday, August 9, 2010, in Heartland Health Care Center of Decatur.Memorial services will be 7:00 P.M. Thursday, August 12, at Heartland Community Church, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Memorials may be made to the family.Mr. Alexander was born October 8, 1943, in Princewick, West Virginia, the son of Boyd and Thelma (Davis) Lilly. He married Nancy Ridgeway December 18, 1963, in Raleigh County, West Virginia. Mr. Alexander worked as a millwright at Wagner Castings for 39 years. He liked computers and converting tapes to DVD. He enjoyed bowling and watching his wife and son drag race. He was a member of Heartland Community Church.Mr. Alexander is survived by his wife Nancy of Bethany; mother-in-law Betty Burke of Pekin; daughter L. Sue McArthur of Decatur; son John (Pamela) Alexander of Decatur; son James Alexander of Decatur; brother Charles (Sue) Alexander of Peterstown, WV; sister Nancy Bolen of Crab Orchard, WV; grandchildren James Michael, Dustin Boyd, Matthew, Melissa McArthur, Jessica, Wessley Alexander, Chris, Emily Skelton, and Jesse James Alexander.He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and one brother.Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com "
